We are honoured to welcome Jonathan Pageau, who will conduct a live interview with Yelena during the evening, offering a thoughtful and engaging conversation on faith, storytelling, and the sacred art of cinema. Together, they will reflect on how the lives of the saints and the enduring spiritual presence of the monastery continue to speak to the modern world.
Hosted by the VMC Monastery Foundation, this special evening directly supports the Holy Monastery of Virgin Mary the Consolatory in Brownsburg-Chatham, Quebec.

Tax receipts are issued exclusively to the individual who purchases the ticket and cannot be transferred to event attendees.
Yelena Popovic is the director of Man of God, a film portraying the life of Saint Nektarios, and Moses the Black, which depicts the life and transformation of Saint Moses the Ethiopian.
During the evening, Yelena will reflect on her experience bringing the lives of Orthodox saints to the screen and share insights from her time spent in Greek monasteries.
Jonathan Pageau will conduct a live interview, guiding a conversation on faith, storytelling, and the enduring spiritual significance of the monastery.
All proceeds from this fundraising dinner will directly support the on going construction of new living quarters for the Sisters.
The monastery serves as a place of prayer and spiritual life within the Orthodox Christian tradition. Funds raised through this event will assist in continuing its development and work.
